OBITUARY:
JOHNS - At the Oregon State Hospital for the insane, Salem, Oregon, at 9:30 o'clock, George W. Johns, aged 52 years, 7 months and 4 days.
Mr. Johns was born in Illinois and removed to Oregon with his parents who settled near Salem, when he was but six years of age.
He has been a resident of this vicinity since that time. Besides a wife he leaves a mother, three sisters and two brothers.
The funeral services will be conducted from the Clough undertaking parlors tomorrow, Thursday, October 24, 1907, at 2 p.m. Interment City View [sic] cemetery.
