OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Katherine Johnson, at a local hospital, March 4, at the age of 70 years. Late resident of 536 South 17th street. Survived by widower, Peter W. Johnson of Salem, and the following children: Miss Mary Johnson of Washougal, Washington, Mrs. Martha Hubbard of North Bend, Mrs. Eva Cummings and Mrs. Lydia Martin, both of San Francisco, Herman Johnson of Salem, and Edward Johnson. Funeral services at chapel of Clough-Barrick company, Saturday, March 7, at 2 pm. Interment at IOOF cemetery. Rev. Amos F. Minneman will officiate.
