OBITUARY:
Funeral is Held For G. Jorgenson [sic]
Gordon Jorgenson, 13, who was injured last Thursday in a motorcycle-truck collision on the Salem-Dallas highway, died Sunday night at Salem Deaconess hospital.
Gordon, riding with his father, Tom H. Jorgenson of 1965 North Fifth street, received compound leg fractures in the crash.  An amputation of the leg was necessary, and the youth died as a result of the operation, reports from the hospital said.  Mr. Jorgenson, the boy's father, also received a broken leg in the accident, but his condition last night was much improved.
The father and the mother, and other relatives survive.  Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon with interment at the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
