NOTE - Of interest (From Dean Byrd) - OSBH indicates she was born in Holstein, which in 1839 was part of Denmark. Her family left Holstein in 1865; the war over Schleswig-Holstein was in 1864. Denmark was attacked by Prussia and Austria. Austria received Holstein as part of the Austrian Empire. Prussia attacked Austria in 1866 and seized Holstein. After 1866 it became part of Germany; Mary had been in the US for 53 years.

OBITUARY: Jorgenson Funeral Today.
Funeral services for Mrs.. S. Jorgensen will be held this afternoon at 1:30 from the home of her daughter at 1331 McCoy avenue, Rev. Leland Porter of the Christian church officiating. Interment will take place in Odd Fellows cemetery.
