Died Last Night-
Mrs. D.W. Joseph died last evening quite suddenly at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Fred G. Haas, on the corner of Twelfth and Chemeketa streets, from heart failure. Her daughter, Mrs. Haas, had just undergone an operation for appendicitis in the Salem Hospital, and her condition was such that it was thought better not to inform her of the sad occurrence. For this reason no arrangements could be made for the funeral yesterday evening, nor could any data as to her age be gotten.
