OBITUARY: Mrs. J. D. Barber of Eugene, Oregon, was born in Ohio on Aug. 9, 1849, and passed away in Eugene, Oregon Jan. 3, 1926 at 76 years. She made her home in Salem for about 14 years. She moved to Vancouver, Washington, nearly four years ago and two years ago she moved from Vancouver to Eugene. She was a member of the Christian church since a young girl.
She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband J. D. Barber, one son and three daughters, Ellsworth Hyatt of Battleground, Washington, Mrs. Viola M. Barnett of San Francisco, California, Mrs. T. B. Roberts of Eugene and Mrs. A. L. Oglesbee of Toledo, Oregon. Funeral services were held in Eugene and interment in I. O. O. F. cemetery in Salem.
