OBITUARY: 
DIED -- KING -- At the home of his niece, Mrs. D. D. Tompkins, 551 North Summer street, Salem, Oregon, Thomas King, of heart failure, aged 72 years 2 months and 2 days. Deceased leaves five sons -- William, John, Jerry, Frank and George. His wife died about nineteen years ago. He was an uncle of A. L. Brown and Mrs. D. C. Minto. He was an engineer at the state prison for many years and had long been a resident of Oregon.
