OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Edward S. Lamport, aged 63, died in Salem Wednesday evening. 
She is survived by three sons: Frederick S. Lamport and Merrill S. Lamport of Salem, and L. H. Lamport of Medford. Remains are at the Terwilliger funeral home. Announcement of services later.

Passing of Mrs. Edward Lamport 
Old Time Resident of Salem Goes to Her Rest After a Brief Illness 
Mrs. Edward S. Lamport, a resident of Salem for the last 40 years, died Wednesday evening following a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Edward S. Lamport, pioneer Salem merchant. Mrs. Lamport was born in Victoria, B. C. 63 years ago. 
She was a member of the First Congregational church of this city. She leaves three sons; Frederick Lamport, vice president of the U.S. National bank; Merrill S. Lamport, local attorney, and E. H. Lamport, a merchant in Medford. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. 
At the time of his death, a few years ago, Edward S. Lamport was one of the five men in Salem with the longest continuous careers in business life here. 
Since his death, Mrs. Lamport has lived a quiet and helpful life, enjoying the friendships of more than an average generation. She will be missed by many friends of the old days and the new.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian B. Lamport will be held from the First Congregational church, Saturday at 3 o'clock p. m., Rev. W. C. Kantner officiating. Interment will be in the I. O. O. F. cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Congregational church from 11:30 until the hour of the funeral at 3 o'clock. Terwilliger Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
