OBITUARY: 

Mrs. Baumgartner Dies
Mrs. Joseph Baumgartner, resident here for many years, died in Salem Saturday night. She was born June 29, 1872, her maiden name being Ada Stapleton. She is survived by two daughters, Josephine Baumgartner and Mrs. Lenta Caugehell; a brother, Roy Stapleton, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Harry Stapleton. She was married to Joseph Bamgartner in December 1896. Funeral arrangements had not been completed Saturday night. (newspaper citation not given, but Oct. 13, 1928 was written in--need full citation) Baumgartner, Ada Stapleton Baumgartner died October 13. Survived by her husband, Joseph Baumgartner and two daughters, Josphine and Mrs. John Caugill, Jr., also a brother Roy Stapleton of Albany. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal church, with Rev. Rice officiating. Interment in Odd Fellows'
cemetery. The body lies in state in the Rigdon mortuary chapel.
