1880 IN CENSUS - John Lenon, age 18, b. Indiana, is enumerated with Alvin, age 37, occupation farmer, b. Indiana, and Catherine, age 37, b. Ohio, along with Frank, age 17, b. Indiana, Walter, age 8, b. Indiana, Dora, age 6, b. Indiana, Luthur, age 4, b. Indiana, and Charles, age 2, b. Indiana.
DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
At the home of Mrs. A. A. Lenon, in South Salem, Monday, April 27, 1891, John W. Lenon, aged 30 years, 2 months and 28 days. The cause of death of the deceased was inflammation of the bowels of which he has been ill many months. He leaves a young wife, mother, four brothers and sisters all residing in South Salem. He has been a resident of Oregon for six years and leaves many friends to mourn his loss. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), the services being conducted from the M. E. church in South Salem, the interment being in the Rural cemetery.
