OBITUARY:
In this city, October 29, Jacob Al Foland, age 71 years, husband of Eva L. Foland, father of Mrs. Mable Walsh of Portland. Mr. Foland was for many years a police officer of Salem and Chief of Police for a time. Funeral services Tuesday, November 1, at 1:30 p. m., from the Rigdon mortuary, interment I. O. O. F. cemetery, under the auspices of the Odd Fellows.
