OBITUARY: At the family home, eight miles from Albany, Lavena Long, at the age of 19 years on Wednesday, November 27, 1918, after a year’s illness. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Long of Albany. She is survived by her parents; two sister, Mrs. R. T. Kampt of Portland and Miss Helen Long of Albany; and three brothers, Earl, Chester and John of Albany. The deceased formerly attended Salem high school, where she had a wide circle of friends. The funeral services will be held in Salem Friday. Further announcements will be made later.
