OBITUARY:
SALEM, Or., Sept 21--C.E. Magers, of McMinnville, died here today. He had taught school in Polk county, and was once school superintendent of this county. His age was 45.

BURIED TODAY-- The remains of the late Chas. E. Magers were laid at rest in the Odd Fellow's cemetery this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. C. Kantner of the First Congregational church at the home of Mr. Mager's mother, No. 395 High street.
