1900 OR CENSUS - Rena Mann, age 5, b. Nov 1894 in Oregon, is enumerated with father Harry, age 34, occupation rancher, b. Apr 1866 in California, and his wife of 12 years, Lavina, age 26, mother of 4, occupation cook at Indian school, b. Sep 1873 in California, along with Nora, age 11, b. Nov 1888 in Oregon along with Hattie, age 9, b. Feb 1891 in Oregon,  and Edward, age 2, b. Oct 1897 in Oregon.  Harry is identified as white, Lavina and the children are identified as Indian. 
1910 OR CENSUS - Lorena [Rena] Mann, age 16, b. Oregon, is enumerated [at Salem Indian school] with father Harry E. Mann, age 44, occupation blacksmith at Indian school, b. California, and Sarah, age 38, mother of 5, b. California, along with Nora L., age 21, occupation sales clerk, b. Oregon, Hattie L., age 19, b. Oregon,  Edward, age 12, b. Oregon, and Marie, age 6, b. Oregon.  Harry is identified as white, Sarah and the children as Indian.

OBITUARY: 
MANN--At home at Chemawa, Oregon, on Thursday morning, July 11, 1912, Miss Rena Mann, aged 18 years, 8 months and 4 days. Deceased was a daughter of H. E. Mann, the blacksmith for the United States Indian Training school at Chemawa. Besides her father and mother, deceased leaves three sisters and one brother, among the sisters being Miss Hattie Mann, who is employed in the recorder’s office at the city hall in Salem. The deceased had been attending the academy of the Sacred Heart. She was receiving fine musical education and was a member of one of the local orchestras, playing the violin. She was a loveable young woman, and her untimely death will be sadly mourned by a wide circle of friends , who will sympathize with the bereaved family. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 today (Friday) at the Catholic church. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
