Widow of John Martin is Dead.
SALEM, Or., May 10 -(Special)- Mrs. Fannie Martin, widow of John Martin, deceased, died at her home near Salem yesterday, aged 80 years. Deceased was an Oregon pioneer of 1845. She left six children: Willard Martin, L. J. Martin, and Mrs. Ruth Sayre, of Salem; Mrs. Melison Presley, Ashland, Mrs. Emma Klint [Kluit], Los Angeles, Mrs.  A. H. Gish, Lost Nation, Ia.
The funeral will be conducted from the home of L. J. Martin on Salem Prairie at 11 o'clock, tomorrow.

Mrs. Martin Dead
Mrs. Francis A. Martin, wife of the late John Martin, died Saturday at 10 o'clock, at the home of her son, L. J. Martin, on the Silverton road. She was 80 years of age and had been failing for some time. The funeral was held from the residence at 11 a.m.Monday. Burial at Rural cemetery.
