SCARLET FEVER: There are a number of cases of scarlet fever in this city, and precautionary steps should be taken to quarentine such cases and prevent the spread of the dread maladay. One death has resulted, that of the 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William McMillan, elsewhere recorded, and a number of cases are reported thoughout the city. At Morningside there are two cases inone family. Miss Ella Syphert and Mrs. J. N. Baker, sister, are both confined to their rooms, but their cases are not considered serious.
