OBITUARY: 

Ernestine Madge McNerney, 80, Rt 4 Box 197, Salem, died Sunday at a Salem hospital after a brief illness. Born in Salem, she spent the first and last 20 years of her life here. The 40 years in between were spent mostly in Portland, Washington and California. Until the last year she bowled in two leagues a week. Surviving are daughters Frances McNerney, Salem, Mrs Charlotte Grieb, Alexandria, Va; a son Jack, Los Angeles, Calif; and six grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Howell-Edwards mortuary, Rev Wayne Bass officiating. Burial will be in Salem Pioneer Cemetery;
