OBITUARY: A.F. Schultz, of Jefferson, is in the city attending the funeral of Jacob Meyers, who will be buried at 2:30 Tuesday at Rural Cemetery.

MEYER - At the state insane asylum, Monday, May 5, 1902, Jacob Meyer, aged about 40 years, of softening of the brain.
The deceased was brought to the asylum from Jefferson, this county, about a week ago for treatment. He was a native of Switzerland, and had no relatives in this country, except for one brother, whose address in not known.
funeral services will be conducted at Rigdon's Court street undertaking parlors at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, and burial will be had in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
