Mize, son, 3, South Salem; Mary Helen Mize, dtr, 9, South Salem.  John Moir, friend & trustee for dtr Mary. Will mentions 'Margaret Stella Mize & William A. Rummel who by their infamous & scandalous conduct have wrecked my peace of mind, broken up my home and rendered my life miserable'.  Member of protection Lodge No. 2, A.O.U.W. OBITUARY: 
At his home in South Salem, at 5 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 1897, of consumption, F. B. Mize, aged 47 years. The deceased was a resident of Salem for fifteen years, a portion of which time he was proprietor of a feed and cider mill in the southern suburb. At the time of his death he was possessed of a residence and lot in South Salem. He was a member of Protection lodge No. 2, A. O. U. W., and the $2,000 beneficiary, which he held in that order, will, with the property mentioned, goes to his little daughter, he having left a will to that effect. The funeral will be conducted at 3 o’clock this afternoon under the auspices of the A. O. U. W. Oregon Statesman 28 March 1897 4:6
