Mary died on January 12, 1917 at Portland Sanitarium, aged 77 years and 3 days. Informant was James Clyde Rhodes, 1012 Union Ave North.
OBITUARY: 
HOLT, In this city, January 12, Mrs. Mary Rhodes Holt, aged 77 yrs. and 3 days, beloved wife of Thomas Holt of Salem, Or., mother of James Clyde Rhodes and grandmother of Mrs. E. C. Coblee both of this city. The remains will be forwarded to Salem for funeral services and interment tomorrow (Monday), Jan. 15 by the East Side Funeral Directors, 414 East Alder Street.
