Biographical Note - She was an excellent cook and cooked in the home of Gov. Martin when he was governor. Also in a fraternity at OSU.
DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OSBH DC (Marion Co., 1937) #621 indicates Jeanne Phillips was born in Canada to Thomas Cummings and Robena Adlock. Her usual residence was at 2510 Front street, Salem. She was trained as a nurse and died at the age of 61 years, 1 months, 24 days. 
OBITUARY: 
At the residence of her sister, 2510 North Front street, Mrs. Jennie [Jeannie] Phillips, aged 61 years. Survived by sister, Mrs. T. L. Mitchell, and another sister and two brothers in Canada. Funeral services Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Terwilliger funeral home, Rev. George Swift officiating.
