OBITUARY: 
At his home in this city, Sunday morning at 1:30 o’clock, Paul Plants, aged 21 years. Deceased had been a resident of Salem for about 13 years, graduating from the High school in the year 1915. He was married in this city to Miss Grace Dodd in 1916, and is survived by his wife, one child, his father and mother and one brother, residing in California. The funeral was held this afternoon at two o’clock at the Rigdon parlors.

Paul Plants Claimed by "Flu", Funeral Yesterday. 
Funeral services were held yesterday for Paul Plants, a former employee of the Salem King’s Products Co., who died Sunday morning at 12:30 o’clock at the Red Cross emergency hospital of Pneumonia, following influenza. Interment was made in the IOOF cemetery. 
The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucian B. Plants, 362 North High, and his wife and two-year old son, who live on Cottage street. He was born in 1897.
