OBITUARY:
At Mehama, at 9 a.m., Sunday, January 26, 1890, Hosea Pratt, aged 77 years. The deceased was born in Vermont and came to Oregon in 1870, and resided in Salem for many years. He was the father of Dr. R. A. Pratt, of Mehama. Father Pratt was taken down a few weeks ago with la grippe, which turned into pneumonia and resulted in his death. The remains were brought to this city yesterday afternoon and will be interred at ten o'clock this morning in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
