OBITUARY:
VETERAN PASTOR PASSES AWAY.
Rev. Ham L. Pratt Dies at Brother’s Home in Crook County.
Rev. Ham L. Pratt passed away at the home of his brother in Wapatha, Crook county July 16 after an illness of several years. Death was caused by paralysis. He was 57 years old.
He had been a minister in the United Evangelical church for 30 years, serving in the Salem church for four years. He has been presiding elder in the Oregon conference for eight years.
The funeral services will be held from the United Evangelical church Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with Rev. N. J. Ballantyne of Dallas conducting the rites. Burial will be in odd Fellows cemetery.
The minister is survived by a wife and four children who live in Portland where Mr. Pratt has lived for a number of years. A brother in eastern Oregon and one in Idaho and a sister in Portland also survive him.
