OBITUARY: 
George Washington Rice, former resident of Central hotel, Salem, at a local hospital Wednesday, February 25, at the age of 78. Survived by one sister, Miss Abbie Rice, Transfer, Pa., and sister-in-law, Mrs. C. A. Rice, Dallas. Graveside services February 27, at 1:30 p.m. in IOOF cemetery, Rev. Robert A. Hutchinson officiating. Services directed by Clough-Barrick company.
