OBITUARY: 
Louis E. Roberts, route seven Salem, passed away at Monmouth May 12, at the ate of 29. Survived by wife, Mrs. Marguerita Roberts; son, Richard Louis Roberts; daughter, Ethel Ruth Roberts; parents Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Roberts; sisters, Mrs. Nellie Sim, Miss Particia E. Roberts; niece, Miss Geraldine Loose, all of Salem. Funeral services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel on Monday, May 15, at 1:30 p.m. Interment IOOF cemetery, Adjutant Allen officiating. Oregon Statesman 14 May 1939 5:1.
