OBITUARY: At the family home at 291 Monroe street, Portland, at 9:40 a. m., May 13, 1908, Lizzie S. Robinson, wife of Charles C. Robinson, age 47 years, four months.
Lizzie S. Hurst was born in Circleville, Ohio, Jan. 29, 1861, and when a child removed with her parents to Nebraska. She was married to C. C. Robinson, Dec. 12, [can't read year - 1880?] in Columbus, Neb., and in 1891 removed with her husband and family to Salem, Oregon, where she lived for 16 years, moving to Portland in July last.
Besides her husband she leaves one son, Lloyd L. Robinson and six daughters, Mrs. E. E. Tanner of Salem, May Robinson of Klamath county, and Beryl, Blanche, Elva, and Jean Robinson, all of whom were at her bedside when she died.
Her husband has lost a faithful companion and her children a kind, and loving mother. Her sweet disposition won her friends wherever she went.
The funeral will be held at the United Brethern church on Missoin street, Salem, at 2 p.m. Friday, May 15th, and interment will be in the family lot in the IOOF cemetery.
