OBITUARY: 
At Jacksonville, Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1889, Mrs. Mary Robinson, mother of Mrs. Weatherford, formerly of Salem. The remains will be brought to this city for burial, and will arrive on Thursday morning's train. Daily Oregon Statesman 4 Dec 1889 4:4 FUNERAL TODAY There will arrive from Jacksonville, by the overland train, this morning, the remains of Mrs. Mary Robinson. The funeral will be conducted this morning, the remains being interred in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. Mrs. Weatherford is a daughter of the deceased. Daily Oregon Statesman 5 Dec 1889;4:4 Mrs. Mary E. Robinson, who died of general debility at the residence of her son, Dr. J. Robinson, in Jacksonville, Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1889, at 9 a. m., was aged 77 years and 8 days and was a native of Ohio. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church at Jacksonville Wednesday afternoon, Revs. Walston Skipworth and Robert Ennis officiating. The remains were brought to Salem for interment, being accompanied as far as Medford by a large number of mourning friends. the train bearing the corpse was delayed and did not arrive until Thursday night. The funeral was conducted from the Chemekete yesterday morning at 8:30, Rev. Rollins offering a prayer at the grave. The remains were interred in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
