OBITUARY: 
ROMER-- At the residence of her parents on 22nd street, between Mill and Bellvue streets, Salem, Oregon, Wednesday, October 28, 1903, at 11:46 p.m. Rosa B. Romer, aged 18 years, 2 months and 8 days, of tuberculosis of the bowels. The funeral will be held at the residence at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 30. Burial will be at the IOOF rural cemetery. The parents of the deceased are singularly unfortunate. On December 21, 1901, they lost a daughter, Daisy, aged 14 years 8 days; and on June 6, a son, John C., aged 19 years 8 months and 16 days. The father is working in Washington as an engineer for the Tacoma and Eastern Railroad.
