OBITUARY: 
Ivan Herschel Savage, aged 3 years 10 months 22 days, son of John I. and Bessie L. Savage, of Jefferson, but formerly of Salem, of typhoid fever, Jan. 6, at 4 a. m. 
The remains will be brought on the 3 p. m. train Friday, to the residence of W. N. Savage, 1333 East State street. The funeral will be from there at 11 a. m. Saturday, January 8.

The funeral services over the remains of Ivan, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Savage of near Jefferson, who died of spinal memingitis, Thusday morning of this week, will be held at the residence of W. N. Savage 1333 State street at 11 o'clock this morning and interment will be had in Odd Fellows' cemetery. 
Mr. and Mrs. Savage, the bereaved parents, were former residents of Salem and are well known in this city, where they have a large circle of friends and many relatives, all of whom hoin in sympathy for them during their hour of affliction. Daily Oregon Statesman 8 Jan 1910 5:4.
