SAVAGE - CORNISH -- In this city, May 25, 1891, at the residence of the groom, on Twelfth street, Mr. O. G. Savage and Miss R. Cornish. The above couple are both well and favorably known in Salem and the surrounding country. The marriage was performed yesterday afternoon by the Rev. Cline. Mr. Savage is a retired tiller of the soil, and has decided to pass the evening years of his life in company with the bride he took unto himself yesterday. Miss Cornish, now Mrs. Savage, will prove a genial companion in life's journey, and if the wishes of their friends are half realized neither will have cause to regret this step.

1900 OR CENSUS - Orin G. Savage, age 54, b. Feb 1846 in Ohio, occupation merchant, is enumerated with his wife of 2 years, Loretta E., age 59, b. May 1841 in Ohio, along with 2 step-daughters, Anna (20) and Effie (19), both born in California.

ORIN SAVAGE WILL ADMITTED TO PROBATE; Codicil Attached - Wife, Children and Grandson are Heirs to Property.
The last will and testament of Orin G. Savage was admitted to probate and proven in County Judge Wm. M. Bushey’s court yesterday upon petition of Emma L. Savage, widow of the deceased. The will was drawn March 16, 1908, and a codicil thereto March 27, 1908, both drawn in the handwriting of Carey F. Martin, attorney for Mr. Savage, the will being witnessed by G. M. Stewart and B I. Ferguson, and the codicil by B. I. Ferguson and Nellie J. Ferguson.
The will names Gertrude E. Kruse and Linnie Reid, daughters of Mr. Savage by a former wife and a grandson, Henry R. Kruse, as principal legatees after the widow, Emma L. Savage, who is provided with a 63 acre farm in Polk county, a house and lot in Salem, Oregon, and a life estate in 40 acres near the state fair grounds, and all money, notes and accounts and personal property, after all debts are paid and also subject to a direction that she pay $50 per year to Ella S. Walk, a relative of Mr. Savage, in California, during her lifetime.
All the remainder of his estate is directed to be divided equally between his two daughters and grandson, one-third to each. The estate is valued at $9,000 and the daughter, Gertrude E. Kruse, and the widow Emma L. Savage, are joint executors without bonds.
