OBITUARY: 

Robert Thomas and his daughter, Mrs. Viola Davenport who met with an accident, fatal to Mrs. Davenport, near the tubercular hospital Monday afternoon had been here visiting his brother, Thurston Thomas, and sister, Mrs. Rebekah Kimsey. They were on their way to their home in Portland when the accident occured. They are well known to older residents of the section, as the family lived for a number of years near the Weazle Flat school house in Linn county.
