OBITUARY: 
DICKINSON - In this city, January 16, S. A. Dickinson, residing at 1195 Cross street. The body is at the Rigdon mortuary. Oregon Statesman 17 January 1922 5:6 At his home in Yew Park, Sunday, January 15, 1922, S. A. Dickinson, at the age of 65 years. Deceased has no known relatives. Rigdon & Sopn of Salem have charge of the remains. Funeral announcements later. OS 18 January 1922 5:6 The funeral of S. A. Dickenson will be held at 10:30 today from Rigdon's chapel, Rev. R. L. Putnam officiating. Interment will be at I.O.O.F. cemetery. OS 19 and 20 January 1922 5:6 WOMAN FINDS MAN DEAD IN BED HERE Lying on his bed with all his clothes on, S. A. Dickinson, 65 years of age, was found dead yesterday afternoon in his shack in Yew Park by a neighbor, Mrs. Sarah E. Day, 1195 Cross street. Dickinson, according to Coroner Lloyd Rigdon, who investigated the case, had been ill for some time and had insisted on doctoring himself. He is believed to have passed away Sunday night. Dickinson, who was said to have had but little money, was assisted by the county court, Rigdon & Son have charge of the remains. Dickinson had no known relatives. Capital Journal 18 January 1922 3:5
