MARRIED: "At the residence of A. Bayless, in North Salem, at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 1894, George Randles and Miss M. A. Stanley, Rev. J. Bowersox officiating. The newly wedded couple are colored residents of Marion county and their home in the future will be on a farm north of Salem. The groom is well known in Salem having been a driver for a Salem transfer company for many years and a member of the old volunteer fire department".

OBITUARY: RANDLES--At the Salem hospital, April 30, 1907, Mrs. Maggie Adeline Randles, aged 55 years, of pneumonia. Mrs. Randles is survived by her husband, George Randles, of this city, and a son in Arizona, who will be communicated with before any arrangements are made for the funeral. Mrs. Randles for a long time past had cared for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bayliss, the aged colored couple who died recently in North Salem. She has been a resident of Salem for many years, and leaves many friends here.
