OBITUARY: 
In South Salem, Or., Sunday, Oct. 21, 1888, of typhoid fever, Leonard O. Dancy, son of John and Mary Dancy, aged 17 years and 7 months. The deceased was a very bright and loveable boy, and his death is a sad blow to his sorrowing parents and friends. The funeral took place from the residence yesterday afternoon, the interment being in the IOOF cemetery. Oregon Statesman 23 Oct 1888
