OBITUARY: 

George W. Croisan, an insurance salesman and agent in Salem for some 40 years died Saturday at a hospital here. His death was attributed to cancer. He was 67.
Croisan was born on a Croisan Creek farm just southwest of here, an area named after his pioneer grandparents, the Croisan and Clark families. In recent years he lived at 255 14th St. NE. He served in recent years as an agent for several insurance companies, including the Lumberman’s Insurance Co. His office was in the Pacific Building until ill health forced him to sell the business last July.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther Croisan and two children, George W. Jr. of Salem and Mrs. Mariann Allen of Eugene; sisters Mrs. Charles R. McClelland of Salem, and Mrs. Russell Rarey, Ishawa, Wash.; a brother John, of Salem; and two grandchildren. Private services will be conducted at the W. T. Rigdon Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in the family lot at Pioneer Cemetery.
