OBITUARY: 
PAGE, SYLVANUS Sylvanus Page, who had made his home in Salem for the last 30 years, died in Tacoma, Wash. He was injured in an automobile accident a few weeks ago. Page was born in Wisconsin in 1854 and went to Washington in 1878 where he engaged in farming and grain buying. He married Mrs. Iva Calavan in 1899 and four children were born; Gladys F. (deceased), Ruth Elizabeth, Lela Mae and Veda Ethel. He is also survived by two brothers, Eugene and Fred Page, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Browning. Funeral services will probably be held Friday or Saturday. Capital Journal 21 December 1933 11:7 Page - At Tacoma, Dec. 19,. Sylvano A. Page, aged 84, husband of Mrs. Iva Jane Page of 2135 Bellevue street; father of Mrs. Ruth Davison of Everett, WEash., Mrs. Lela Landers of Portland, Mrs. Veda Stover of Salem, Eugene and Fred Page of Wenatchee, Wash., and Mrs. Florence Browing of Riverside, Wash. Also survived by four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Rigdon’s mortuary, Saturday at 1 p.m. Rev. Britton Ross officiating, Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery.
