OBITUARY: 
Ivan G. Martin, late resident of 392 S. High st., in this city, June 14, at the age of 69 years. 
Survived by a half-brother, Blunt Martin, Muskogee, Okla.; a half-sister, Mrs. Tate Fairchild, Elko, Nev.; and several cousins, including Mrs. Olive Casto Wolford, Fullerton, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Casto Arnold, Renton, Wash. Member of the Maccabees. 
Services will be held Friday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at the W. T. Rigdon chapel with the Rev. Dudley Strain officiating. Concluding services at the IOOF cemetery.

Death Claims Ivan Martin.
 Salem Lawyer Ivan G. Martin, 69, prominent Salem attorney and former state legislator, died Wednesday morning at a local hospital. He had suffered a heart attack late Tuesday at his home at 392 S. High st. 
Martin was elected to the state legislature in 1916 and served in regular sessions and two special sessions from 1917 to 1921. He had practiced law in Salem since 1912 when he was graduated from the University of California law school and was associated first with Carey Martin and later with Alvin E. Schirman. Born Jan. 19, 1881, in Missouri, Martin came to Salem from California in 1898 and attended public schools and Willamette university in this city. He was a member of the Maccabees and the Chin Up club of Oregon. 
Survivors include a half-brother, Blunt Martin, Muskogee, Okla., a half-sister, Mrs. Tate Fairchild, Elko, Nev., and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the W. T. Rigdon chapel with the Rev. Dudley Strain officiating. Concluding services will be at the IOOF cemetery.
