OBITUARY: DECKER --At Portland hospital at 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon, July 31, 1893, Mrs. Mary E. Decker. Deceased was aged 53 years, 6 months and 24 days. She was born in Lancaster, England. Her surviving husband is a resident of West Salem. The deceased had been sick a number of years, and went to Portland for a surgical operation, which resulted in her death. The funeral will take place today (Wednesday), at the I. O. O. F. cemetery, from the 11:17 o'clock train. Daily Oregon Statesman, Aug. 2, 1893, 4:4.
