OBITUARY:
In East Salem, Saturday, May 4, 1907, A. S. Lawrence, aged 43 years, of heart failure.
The deceased was a resident of Portland before coming to Salem, for medical treatment some time ago. His brother, and brother-in-law, C. J. Benedict, arrived from San Francisco yesterday to attend the funeral, which will be held from Rigdon's undertaking parlors this morning, and will be conducted by Rev. Barr G. Lee, pastor fo the Episcopal church. Interment will be made in the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
