OBITUARY: DEATH TAKES MRS. BEAMISH, PIONEER SCION.
Funeral services for Mrs. Floy Beamish, native of Salem, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Clough-Barrick Chapel. A late resident of Salem Route 4, she died at a local hospital Wednesday. Born June 5, 1874, Mrs. Beamish was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Halley, early Oregon settlers. She was the granddaughter of John Minto and a the time of her death lived on part of the place which is known as the John Minto farm. Mrs. Beamish is survived by one son, Ernest W. Beamish, Salem; two sisters Mrs. Ernestine Halley McNerney, Salem and Mrs. Edith Southwick Sansanna, San Francisco, Calif. Concluding services will be held at the Pioneer Cemetery with the Rev. Paul N. Poling officiating.
