OBITUARY: 
At her late residence, 2330 North Fourth street, Thursday, May 18, 1916, Mrs. Jane D. Bean, aged 76 years. Surviving her are three daughters and a son: Mrs. Nellie Bruns of Salem; Mrs. Jennie Maxfield of Pleasanton, Cal.; Mrs. Sophia Holden of North Dartmouth, Mass., and Thomas Bean of Salem. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the chapel of Rigdon & Richardson. Rev. F. T. Porter will officiate and burial will be in Odd Fellow cemetery.
