Scotland), interment 30 May, undertaker Ekman Funeral Home of Silverton, informant Don Burr of Silverton, Oregon.

OBITUARY: 

Silverton, May 28. Samuel Henry Burr, 72, died suddenly here this morning while visiting his son Robert Burr who lives on the Abiqua. Burr, whose home is near Monmouth in Polk county, had been spending a few days at the home of his son. Funeral services will be announced later from the Elkins Funeral Home, the funeral will, however, be held at Silverton with interment at Salem. Mr Burr was born in Iowa but came to Oregon 24 years ago. He was the father of 15 children. His wife precede dhim in death by a few years. Eight children survive: Mrs Levita Scott of Breckenridge, Missouri; Robert, Don and Alvin of Silverton, Fred of Salem; Otis and Theodore of Toledo, and Alvin of Portland.
