OBITUARY: At home in South Salem, Wednesday July 30, 1890, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brower, aged 8 months and 17 days. The infant’s death was the result of teething and summer complaint. The parents have the sympathy of all who know them and understand the peculiar sadness of their bereavement. The remains will be taken to the Macleay [sic] cemetery for burial.
