OBITUARY: 

At his home, Fourteenth and D. streets, Salem, Oregon, at 8 0'clock Tuesday evening, May 29, 1906, Hamilton Beatty, age 73 years. 
Deceased had been a resident of Salem for fifteen years. He leaves a widow and daughter, Miss Mattie F. Beatty, living in Salem, and a son, H. W. Beatty, a resident of Santa Barbara, Cal., Deceased had been in ill health for a long rime. Lately he had been failing rapidly. His son had been at his bedside for two weeks. Announcement of the funeral arrangements will be made tomorrow.
