OBITUARY:
Katherine Richmond, 97, died Sunday in Silverton.
Born in Racine, Wisconsin, she moved to Woodburn from Bonneville in 1966. She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening. Her husband, Merrill D. died in 1971.
Survivors enclude nephews Gary Gogle of Salem, Charles Unkie of Gainsville, Miss., Leon Gogle of Portland, and Rich Gogle of Newport; and nieces Cloria Marion of Portland, Joan Vorous and Donna Darah, both of Clarkston, Wash., and Lilyn Negrey of Woodburn.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hope Lutheran Church where she was a member. Private interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements are by Simon mortuary. Contribution: Church or Alzheimer's Foundation.
