BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES:
"The name of my father's first wife was Susan A. Marsh. Father married her on April 18, 1850, when he was about 23 years old. After the death of my father's first wife he married my mother, Helen S. Gregory, whose father, David Gregory, went to California in 1849."
"My father had three children by his first wife - Amelia, Ella and Orpha. My half-sister Orpha married the Rev. Farmer, a Baptist minister in Salem. Their son is employed by the Chamber of Commerce in Portland. He recently made a trip to Hawaii looking up trade possibilities."

DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
DIED--At Klamath Agency, October 26, 1875, of consumption, Miss Ella R. Cranston, aged 20 years. The deceased was a daughter of Hon. Warren Cranston, of this county, and had gone to Southern Oregon for the benefit of her health. She spent last winter at the Agency, and experienced considerable relief hence her trip there this fall.
Hon. Warren Cranston started on this morning's train for Roseburg, thence to Klamath Agency, to bring the remains of his daughter Ella, who died at the Agency a week since, for final interment at home.
