OBITUARY: 
Norman Fletcher, 70, of 2232 42nd Ave. SE, Salem, died Saturday. He was born in Salem. He worked in the business office of the Oregon State Penitentiary and was an Army veteran, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a past master of the Salem Masonic Lodge. 
Survivors include his wife, Idres. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Salem Pioneer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a special fund at the church. Rigdon-Ransom mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
