New York, along with Margaret, age 10, b. New York, George L., age 8, b. New York, Howard J., age 6, b. Oregon, and Georgia G., age 1 yr 6 mos, b. Oregon.
NOTE - his wife was Nellie Haviland, daughter of Ross Haviland, who is also buried in in Lot #896. Nellie returned to the east after his death. She m2 on 12 Aug 1929 in Chautauqua co, NY to Wilmer I. Rehr, and appears in 1930 census of Youngstown, Mahoning co, Ohio, and 1940 census of Chester, Burlington co, New Jersey. She later returned to Oregon and m3 on 21 Mar 1942 at Vancouver, Clark co, Wash to Daniel C. Bones. She died 1 Aug 1969 in Jackson Co, Ore and was buried in Siskiyou Memorial Park at Medford

OBITUARY: 

Lewis Q. Beck, aged 34 years, died at his home in West Salem, Tuesday night, July 11. He leaves a wife and four children. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, interment will be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
