OBITUARY:
Thyra 'Faye' Ridgeway, 67, of Salem, died Monday in Salem.
She was born and lived all her life in Salem. She was a secretary 25 years for the Marion County Fire District and Suburban East Water District, retiring in 1983.
She married Clare R. Ridgeway on Sept. 23, 1944, in Salem. He died in 1977. She was past president of the American Legion Post No. 136 Auxiliary, and she supported the 8 & 40 club and other organizations.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Thompson of Salem and Susan D. Krowpman of Corvallis.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the ;mortuary. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
